HeadFirst Lactation & Doula Services supports birthing families in their transition from pregnancy to parenthood. We align with the DONA International vision of a doula for every person who wants one. We take pride in the fact that over the past 20 years we have served a very diverse population of perinatal parents.

We offer services and classes to birthing families and doulas. We reserve the right to refuse care to people who are racist, antisemitic or homophobic.

Yana Katzap – Nackman founded HeadFirst Lactation & Doula Services in November of 2003. After 20 years of service to the birthing community in Los Angeles, Yana has added a Master’s degree in Social Work and specialized tcertification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C).
